Dougs Buggs N Bunnys

I'm on the tour bus, hitting up a really interesting place today. Get this, fish, our character works for Dugs, Bugs and Bunnies. Maybe you've guessed it, they're a VW repair, auto body facility and I'll tell you what, they do some incredible work. Check this out. Welcome to Dugs, Bugs and Bunnies. This is kind of our staging area, storage area, everything from customers' cars that are waiting on parts and projects to get ready to bring in shop. We also have cars that are being dismantled and going to be used for parts to restore another vehicle. Basically here we work on everything, air cooled VW, whether it's a kit car, a sand rail, toy, This is a Gentleman 71 Beetle that we will be bringing inside. Disassembling, getting it prepped, doing paint, complete restoration. We have to carry parts for all of those aspects. I think one of the biggest helps that we're able to do is we have several parts people and technicians that are knowledgeable in all those aspects. This is basically where we do all the restoration assemblies and buildups. All the motors are here, these are basically all in line, motors and transits are in line to completely get built. And we'll then be brought over to this area where we'll completely disassemble it and restore it, rebuild it, transmission will actually receive the same service, completely gone through, synchro's and resealed. With this one it's almost done. We've put a new motor and trans in it, we've done all the windows and paint and now we're finishing the interior. One of the fun things, let me show you this motor here, it's awesome. Just kidding, motors in the back just This is where we do all our general maintenance on the cars, plus complete tear downs for restoration projects. Motors will get pulled, all the interior pieces will get pulled, they'll get labeled and inventoried, that way we know what parts and pieces we'll need when it's time to put the car back from paint. As you can see we deal with dune buggies, old porches, buses, kit cars. So here's a recently painted 23 window bus that we just finished the body and paint. After 40 plus years of life these things don't look Next we'll be into the restoration room for interior and all the chrome and all the stuff that really will make it stand out as a complete project.
