We're excited to bring you our rods here at Bateworks, inside of Boatworks. I wanted to talk with you today about one of our specific rod models. It's the 7. 7 Heavy Fast, which was originally developed as a frog rod. It's the rod that Michael Harlan used to throw an He chose it because it has a real soft tip for a heavy fast rod, but a strong backbone, and it kept him from pulling the A-rig out of the fish's mouth when they bit. I used the rod for a weightless fluke, which is a good springtime bait. It's also a great spinner bait rod, Carolina rig rod. When I was fishing co-angler last year, I used it for a rattle trap and deep dive and crank bait some. This is a flexible tip, it works good for those baits too.
