The Herbst Smith Fabrication team built and raced one of the most famous vehicles in professional off-road racing—the Land Shark Truggy. They’ve built the vehicles and provided race support for the winningest team in off-road racing, netting an unheard of 17 championships. Members of this talented crew have supported champion Dakar race teams on three continents, and have developed, built, tested and certified cutting edge, hybrid, extreme-terrain military vehicles. With great precision, they also develop next-generation vehicle components that drive major technology advances in the off-road race industry.
