Bill and Cindy Girard met at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove California in 1973. They started to date January 1975 and married that following June. They have lived in the same one mile radius since they were married and the same house since 1983. They have 2 children. Their oldest is a daughter, Shannon, born in 1981 who resides in the Fountain Valley area. She has been married to Ryan since April 2006. Their youngest is a son, Michael, born in 1984, resides with Julie, in Madison Wisconsin. They are both attending college there. March 2011, Cindy and Bill welcomed their first grandson, Kasen Scott! They have 2 precious cats at home are Lucky and Missy and an adorable Shiutzu named Bradshaw also known as the Fair Auto mascot.
