An incessant question. That’s how it all started. What’s the question? “Do you know an auto repair shop that you can trust?” We had been in car sales for 15+ years and our customers kept asking us that question and we just couldn’t refer them anywhere because we didn’t know a car mechanic shop that we could vouch for; someone that we could confidently hang our reputation on. We decided to start MotorLane in order to solve that problem and we just totally fell in love with it. So much so that it became our main and only business. What was it that made us fall in love with it? Three things: Firstly, we get to see our customers two to three times a year. Every single customer is someone with whom we have a relationship ??. Secondly, my partner and I (owners) are not technicians, which forced us to become the best recruiters in Houston! We hire the best of the best without ANY compromise based on technical skill AND on people skills. Finally, we’ve started several business in the past 15 years and during that time we’ve accumulated tons of business acumen and experience (most of important of which is customer service has to be the best without any compromise). We’re enjoying pouring all that experience into MotorLane and watching our baby grow.
