What's going on everybody Yes the internal Cat actually is loose and it's already starting to rattle so it's not gonna get any better So while we're here we're gonna get these guys installed So it should be a little bit more flow and a different tone. Hopefully it's gonna sound really nice Haven't heard them personally, but I've seen a couple reviews and didn't look too bad so let's get this car up and Start installing our catalytic converters and then we going to get the transmission up on the jack and Start installing that one. Hi boys the cars up in the air and I cleaned up the surface Where the gasket sits on both sides and it's a little bit easier to get them in and out if you have the transmission out so That's a plus. We're gonna actually do the left-hand side first and then we're gonna install our transmission And then we're gonna have to do our rights the right side just because we have the transfer case drive shaft right over here And if we install it, it's gonna be kind of hard to get to the bolts So we're gonna do left-hand side first already got the gas kits out Went ahead and sprayed them with a copper spray. It was drying right here right now It's actually a little tacky. We might be able to actually put the sun and it can just stick on there So There you go It's kind of hard to deal with one hand. So let me grab The catalytic converter and I'm gonna tack it up there I went ahead and put this on all the way All the bolts are torqued and I ended up putting some blue Loctite on the bolts You can see so because I just spilled it the lid popped off, but this Back unit is all nice and tight. So now what we're gonna do next is I'm gonna go ahead and pull this Torque converter out and we're gonna pre-fill this thing a little bit put about a quart of oil maybe in it and Then we'll install the back into the transmission and then we'll get it up on a jack and Back into the car. Here's a torque converter So per builders recommendation they recommend putting the OEM Nissan Oil So we're gonna pre-fill it about one quart if we can get that filled in there Let'see where we at See if any is gonna spill out All right I think that's enough I think a little bit's gonna come out so We'll wipe that off. Let's just see Nope still good You can see and then they send right on the edge All right, and another thing I didn't show you on the video It's always good just for a reference point to measure how far or how deep the torque converter was sitting that Just make sure both of your inputs for your oil p So usually you would just take a straight edge put it across and then take another one and measure Let me try to hold this with one hand and Take another one and then go ahead and measure how far it sits just In case it doesn't sit in there correctly But we got that measurement and our torque converter is pre-filled So I'm gonna go ahead and slide that back in and take our measurement make sure it'still the same exact spot and here's our previous measurement So we're just gonna go to the flare right over there And we are the same exact spot Where was that So we know we have a full engagement And we are good to go. Unfortunately, I can't get this thing Lifted onto the transmission jack by myself. So I'm waiting for Joey come over here and give me a hand real quick. So while waiting for him. I got everything prepped all the volts are good to go I'm ready to get some luck tight on him and then the first thing we're gonna do We're gonna have to tighten these guys. So these boys are for our Torque converter Let me get some light in here Torque converter the bolts to the flywheel So what do So that's good Next thing I'm gonna do is you see this bundle of wires. I'm gonna go ahead and run them all the way down There'some tube end tubes one for the crankcase one for the transmission needs hooked up all the Sensors and can of plugs whatnot and then what I want to do next is there's an aftermarket Oil cooler or transmission oil cooler right over here So we're gonna pull that off and drain it flush it blow the lines out just in case there's any debris in the lines or in that oil cooler from the Previous transmission that was in there. We're gonna get it all cleaned out So I'm gonna go after that first and then we'll pull that oil cooler get it flushed Then start hooking up the rest of the stuff. Everything is now hooked up. I end up running the wire harness From the back of the motor all the way to the end of that transmission The driveshafts hooked up and I'll put in some red lock tight on those bolts So that's all set up We'll put our O2 sensors on that side's all hooked up our starters hooked up All two sensors right here the brackets been installed So that's all good to go. So next thing I want to do is blow out these oil lines They go all the way to the front to the oil cooler. I end up already removing that Here are their lines they're in the bag right now Because I want to just put a little bit of shop air on the other side where the benzo bolt fittings are at and Blow any remaining fluid that'still in them And I got a setup right over here We've got this oil cooler already drained it and I got a p I'll handle that and then we'll go from there Oh There you go guys The catalytic converter on all two sensors in all that is tight We put our clamps on for our lines, which is right there And now I'm gonna be installing the white pipe Right over here. We're gonna clean up this flange a little bit Looking pretty crusty and then I forgot that one night remove this we had two broken studs Or two broken We're just going to have to service the fluid now. So let's get it done All right, I'm ready to get this thing serviced our white pipe is all in I did end up putting some I got the bottle hooked up I'm going to try to Just poking a hole in this bottle and then Apply a little bit of shop air through the nozzle and then fluid should shoot up in the transmission So what we're going to do is we're going to put Three quarts of fluid in first And then we're going to fire up the engine for about five seconds shut it down And then put three more quarts in and then we'll shut it down again or we'll start it back up again And then run through the gears All right, guys, so I'll put some fluid in it our transfer case is also filled that one's filled to spill one court We got that topped off We put three quarts of oil into the transmission and I'm following how the level 10 wants us to service the transmission So that's for their instructions. So now that we got some fluid in it. They want us to start that thing and let it idle for Five seconds and then we've got to go back up put three more quarts in and they just keep following step by step So let's do it Right now we have this pillar out because it went out for repair It has the gauges or the gauge cluster in and whoever did it was So we removed it Then it's out for paint right now to match this kind of color And the interior Should be coming back tomorrow. Hopefully Should start up one Two three four and five So we'll shut it off now I'm gonna go ahead go back up and put three more quarts in All right, we just had three more quarts and now the next step would be to start her And then go through all the gears nice and easy And then we're gonna leave it in park leave the engine running and check The oil level We'll have to wait until it gets to the operating temperature which we do have transmission temp sensor right over here So we're going park right now I'm just gonna keep my foot on the brakes Go in reverse Let us sit there for a second Little neutral I'm gonna drive Come back we'll probably repeat that one or two more times So I'll leave it in park let it warm up a little bit and this is also out we had to send the ecu out with the transmission Because Level 10 need to see the tune that's on the car to make sure it does not hurt the engine or does not hurt the transmission when it comes back So the tune that they have on this vehicle right now is actually no good anymore And it's gonna Blow up the trainee if we're gonna be driving on it. So that's why this car has to go out And it's gonna blow up the trainee if we're gonna be driving on it. So that's why the car has to go out for retune And I don't have a video or a picture before what it looked like But anyway, I'll let her warm up and then I'm gonna go up one more time And So I think it's good to go ahead and Go up now Check everything make sure we don't have any exhaust leaks Make sure a cooler oil cooling lines are not leaking and then we're gonna pull our Transmission cooler down just to double check Make sure the fittings are not leaking over there. But right now we're gonna pop that plug off And I'll probably add another quart of oil We don't have any leaks Exhaust is all good our oil cooler. I was able to put a mirror up there and check our fittings. There's no leaks up there So underneath she's all wrapped up I am leaving this off just for the night because I want to see make sure there's no static leaks Over a period of time just sitting there So in the morning I'm going to come in double check make sure that's all good And then we're going to close out these panels and then our pillar For the driver side while the gauges sit should be arrived So I can't wait to see what that looks So I want to show you how that turned out So before was brown and now actually Matches the rest of the interior In the vehicle it matches the other pillar And the leather so it looks pretty nice. I'll show you from the other side too So flows pretty nice with this color and we like it but So next video on this car we're going to try to Get some clips on the dyno once we're on it But for now this is going to be it so please guys like this video subscribe and I'll see you next time take it easy I was not able to make that date So the owner was kind enough to videotape the last pool and I'm going to put that in now The car made about 390 horsepower and 270 torque if I remember correctly, but here it is So
