Hello, everyone, and welcome to another Feature Friday from Legion's Bank. Today we are here in Evansville, Indiana at Jim Phillips Collision Center on Evansville's East Side. And here with me today, I've got one of the owners, Melody Phillips of Jim Phillips Collision Center. And Melody, tell us a little about Jim Phillips Collision Center for our customers. Well, we've been in business for about nine years. Legion's Bank actually helped us get started. We leased the building at first. About six months later, were able to purchase it through Legion's assistance. I believe that we are the only woman-owned body shop in the tri-state. So one of the things that we can offer is we can appeal to other women that are here and getting their vehicles fixed by that trust that, So Absolutely. But my husband and I actually own the shop and he's very physically involved. We're both very involved in the business and we do a lot of work around town and do a lot of community sponsorships and things of that nature. So we love to get back to the community. We also are certified in many of the manufacturers. We are al There are several other manufacturers that do al We have about 10 employees, very family oriented and can'think of much else to share. Hey, not a problem at all. So now tell me also what made That's an interesting story. We actually, my husband has always done this line of work and I was more of the business side. So he brought this idea to me. He actually had a shop before and for about 15 years and then decided to take off a couple years. We lived in a little bitty town called Nortonville, Kentucky. So we decided that if we're going to do this instead of working for someone else, we can do this on our own. So we stepped out in a lot of faith and decided we kept for this building, we had been watching for this location for about six years. So by the time were able that it would be saw that it was available, Legion's Bank actually had the loan on the building at the time. Ernest Wood actually owned it then. We talked with Woody and he actually was trying to sell the property. Actually I shouldn't say we Jim talked with Woody and they got along real well and he decided that So he let us lease the building from him in the interim while were trying to decide, are we going to be able to pursue this? We just That is amazing and a wonderful story here and definitely takes a lot of faith and just hoping that everything goes well when you take a huge risk So can you tell our customers where exactly Sure. Our address is 4324 Vogel Road. We are just west of Eastland Mall. Vogel Road runs alongside of where Macy's is. So a lot of times when people are saying, hey, where are you located? Say, well, Well, you'll be able to find us really easily. So we're just in that little section there just down from German American Bank. Absolutely. Thank you very much Melody.
