Today they've brought us t What we're going to be doing on that being said, paint correction, we follow up with our ceramic coating by System X. We're going to be using our best coating, w After that we're going to be doing suspension, wheels, calipers, full scrub down, decontamination, clean up all the grease off those components and coat them as well. The underside we'll be doing, we'll be putting it on our lift and cleaning all the suspension w The b It'super dirty so we're going to probably re-dy that in our plastic re-dy just to make it as brand new as possible. As far as the interior goes on t Suede is not though, it is super green. We're going to see if we can manage to dye that back to the original gray or black color and then also trim out these longer hairs that are sticking out. We will be doing a full coating on t As far as the glass goes, there'some light water spotting. No rear near as bad as the Supra was but there is some light spotting so we're going to go ahead and polish these as well and coat them with our System X glass coating. T We have the zinc coated parts here. The paint looks fairly good on the cover and then these parts could do some polis We're going to go ahead and coat these. All the rubber components, couplers, hoses and stuff, we'll be putting a protector on them. It's a rubber and vinyl coating meant for interior components so we'll be doing that as well and then we will also be coating the firewalls just to prevent it and keep it looking the way it looks now. So we have a lot of work ahead of us and there's no way to start a detail without was Now that the ve If you can hear t Yeah, that's not smooth. So we have to clay bar all t It's probably over spray. It should come off with just clay bar. If it doesn't, the polish will for sure take care of it. But just as an extra step, we're going to clay bar it. Yeah, that's not dirt. Back to day two of our R34 series. Today we'll be working on the paint itself. We're going to be correcting it and hopefully coating it all in the same shot. Paint isn'too bad upon further inspection. Water sprockets are mostly out after that clay bar but we'ready to cut now. We're going to be doing a three stage on t So we're going to be using a wool pad with some ultimate cut from Sonax and then we'll be using a foam pad and then using a yellow foam pad to polish it all out. So here's our order. We're going to go wool heavy cut, foam, medi These pads here are Rupes. T So let'start with pairing these two together and get our initial cut and notice the difference. So I put a tape line down. We're going to do before and then we're going to do after. I'm not going to So I'm going to do about here. I just want that to be a guide so now we're going to move to our cutting compound and our medi We're going to move on to our final finis T We don't want any leftover haziness from the cutting stages out. So t Whatever this square looks Same process throughout. Obviously using different mac Here we have a wide open area versus something We'll use our three inch mac On the pillars one inch mac So different tools for different areas but overall same idea. Same pads on everyt So we took the jets out for the winds Obviously they've been polished before. I don't know if the camera will pick that up. Well there's a ton of compound up in there. So been polished before. We had to take these out because there's a lot of texture around t None from necessarily water spotting or anyt It's mostly from sanding so that's been obvious from the beginning. So we had to sand down this area to match the rest of it because it looks But not only is it that but it's also not sanded properly. Doesn't need much. A 3000 grit sand around there are some lines from the previous person who sanded t Had to take these out to do that. Alright Interior all we have to do is the mats and the carpet on the inside and the undercarriage and the head and bay. But that will be for tomorrow. So we're going to let t We have our furniture right there right above it ideally. We're going to put t Sadly today we're going to see t Pretty special project to us. The car was brought in and were tasked to make it look clean and original. So went from the original OE GTR wheels to these beautiful LMGT-4s. The skyline itself has kind of a buck tooth look with just that front lip. So went ahead and installed the Z-Tune side skirts in rear spats to kind of give it that ground lower balance. And then on the exterior here also you see some new gold badging. Denvres hooked it up with the detail. Interior solid. T So when t Little crusty in certain areas. Little surface sea rust on the control arms and some underneath pieces. The rear diffuser was kind of faded and cracked. We got that addressed. The whole car has been ice blasted. We pulled the motor. Ice blasted the parts. Re-sealed it. We took the head out. Redid the head. There was a clogged cooling channel that was causing it to overheat.
