I started Integrity Auto Glass actually in 1999. I moved back to the Treasure Valley from where we had been living. This was home for us and so we wanted to start our own business. We started out just doing rock trip repairs and then after that, four years we decided to go independent. Back then the auto industry was way different. The Auto Glass was just a simple windshield. It's all it was. Remove the old one, put in the new one, put the mirror-to-view mirror back on and away you go. It's changed so much over the last decade or so. Periodically we get the question, can you calibrate my windshield or do I have to take it to the dealership? And the answer to that is we've invested in the very same technology that the dealership uses to calibrate windshields. We do that here in-house. So when a customer needs their windshield replaced, we can save them time and money by doing it all at the same appointment. There's really two types of calibrations that we do. One of them is static, in which we do here in the shop. It has to be done in a controlled environment with a perfectly level floor and a perfectly level target. The other style of calibration we do is dynamic. We access the module in your car that controls that calibration and calibrate it while we're driving it. There are repercussions for calibrating a vehicle wrong. For example, you could be driving down the freeway and your car is approaching an overpass col So we know how important it is for a mom or a dad or a fleet owner or an insurance agent to know that we're taking care of their policy holders. We recognize that every job matters, our reputation matters. We run into our customers at the grocery store, at the football games. We need to do a high quality job because reputation matters. People talk, people refer their friends, their neighbors to us. It's their reputation on the line too. They've said, hey mom, you should go to see Brent down at Integrity Auto Glass. So we take care of every referral as if it's our family. And that's the difference between choosing local and choosing national.
