Hey everybody it's Lance B Got another short video for you. Be Early production date came with a pre-missed Mary 54 engine in it, the 3. 0. It came in the 330s and 325s. Also the 530s and 525s and the E39 body style as well. So it's kind of special it's the first year of it. Obviously they did a great job that year making it better to access everyt We basically started at 7 o'clock t We're looking at about 3 o'clock now. Engine, we've got a trans-wok to do. We changed the gas, it's a sealing sleeve, it's the brake sealing sleeve gasket in there. As well as the solenoids and the pan and filter. Basically, coasts did not go away. We had clutch monitoring, well ratio monitoring clutch A through Codes. Sometimes it would pop up as A or E, fluid flush, filter it in, change anyt So it ends up being the clutch pack. So basically in here we're swapping the engine out today. We'll swap the trans out today. But we do it the German way. We pull the engine and trans at the same time. That's just how we do it. I do it in the same exact time as if I was using a lift. Just being honest. Basically, we've got all the clues draining out of the engine. Got it sitting over here on the hoist. Basically, it makes it pretty easy to just swap the engine and both the trans or the engine at t Just taking the drives back off. Lowering the radio to the transmission. Leave the transmission on and everyt T Going to the gear file. Basically exhaust, just make the exhaust drop in. They drive the shaft off. You don't have to even test. You really don't need to have to test the cover. There's no two sensors. It's no more having to do everyt It's very simple on t Basically, you have two motor mounts and you can create the motor mount. It's a lot easier than 46. One you've got more space than you 60. Basically, you see we've got a front b We've got our front frame and reinforcers b Also, it came with an all-al That's another plus thing that I All-al Not It actually cools 10 times better. I would say 10 times better. I don't know. But fans out. That comes out. T S. A. C. T We've got a new trans going in. We've got it right here. Getting ready to disconnect the two transmission lines to the new transmission. Basically, we're going to go to our bell housing, start the bolts. The other is literally slide the transmission from the engine and unmarry these guys. Basically, divorce it. T I want to try it without having to pull it off. I did. I ended up reac A big heavy duty lock that would normally use for our door. And a chain. I dropped the chain down, got some slack. I looped it in. I basically pulled it out without putting too much tension on the intake manifold to where it broke anyt I didn't even hear it crack the entire time. So that was a big plus. And I've got spare parts. Slide the new one in once we have t And we'll change out all the seals. And basically put our new pan up and get ready to basically put it back in the car. It's just easier. Pull the engine to the trans at the same time. To me. In any other way. That way you don't have to worry about messing your b It's not too bad. Just a bunch of 8mm bolts and 8mm screws and nuts and some tans and 13's here and there. Other than that, I mean that's it. As you can see, she is out. We're going to And that will go ahead and knock all t So here at a minute that will look completely brand new. I've actually got to call the customer. And just inform them that everyt It'll be done tomorrow. It'll be done tomorrow, trust me. But basically, clean t Get the engine back. Nice and showroom. Clean t And a few parts we still got to get. I just wanted to give a short video on. . . I've never seen anybody pull the engine to the trans out on YouTube. Maybe I haven't researched that much or looked on there.
