Hi, this is Adam Ledl for Transportation Matters. We're here in Guelph, Ontario at 12-Gauge Customs and I am here with President Chrome Sculptor and from what I hear, Evil Genius. Yeah. Behind the 12-Gauge Customs company. So I want to say welcome. Hi, Adam. Thank you very much for having us here, Jeff. No problem. So let's talk a little bit about why we're here today. I got an email from you and what's the deal? What's the event here that's happening today? Well, we had the privilege of having from first-class services out of Lewisport, Kentucky, of bringing up a truck that we helped Sculpt and was successful in winning the build-off competition in Louisville, Kentucky this year in March. Give me a little rundown on our award winner here. What has gone on here? This was a project that we did the metal fabrication for, a lot of the design work on. We worked in the first time in conjunction with the owner and his company, first-class services at a Lewisport, Kentucky, and they did all the body work. But this was to make a truck that was, we're trying to forecast a new image for how custom trucks can be seen. They're just not bolt on where you stop in, buy stuff. We wanted to build a piece of artwork that could be appreciated and we'll start with this. This is a billet grill made by a billet details out of Kansas City. The way that this has been diamond cut, it actually when the sunlight hits it, it actually will cast the colors of the prism. A lot of times the grill can be the biggest thing that becomes overemphasized, trying to make it different. It rather becomes the main attention drawer or it becomes something like a whole h But this grill has nice, it's got a nice touch. It's not the center attraction of the vehicle, but it shows that it's got a little bit of character in it. Very nice, very nice. My wife knows all about diamond cuts. We've gotten these chrome hub-wetter caps. A lot of people choose to put a stainless steel cap over it, kind of predates what we're looking for back in the day. This is what they've done. It blends in, It doesn't stand out, it doesn't draw attention to it, but it completes the picture, right? This isn't a factory screen. This is the same shape as of what the factory 359 grill was about. It has its own little look. It doesn't draw your attention. It's a really clean look and it kind of goes back and projects the whole 359 back in the day kind of look. The air cleaner here, went to a strapless look. What it does is it actually incorporates where the canister and the mounting bracket, usually they would have a couple stainless steel straps on. We're able to clean it up and make a lot of times what we'll do on these brackets, we'll actually put the lights in there so we have a bracket that now holds the air cleaner to the vehicle plus also serves as a place to put extra lights. One thing I wanted to just kind of draw attention to is the detail on the paint. It was unbelievable. We had called this particular, let'say design in the paint, were just referring it to crosshatch and we carried this crosshatch because it didn't start out to be theme of the truck, but it ended up as such a neat and unique look ended up being theme. You can see right down to the, we had made the stainless steel fuel tank straps and were able to cut the crosshatch into a lot of different items on this. It's not a tension grabbing, but when you can sit and take and go through all the detail on the vehicle, you can tell like, wow, they had a plan and they had a theme, It fit theme beautifully. I was looking at See, that's it, right? That's what you've got. This design was the trademark of a double ego sleeper. This panel back in the day was their trademark and is it This is one of our many creations that have turned out well. The circ So we just built a couple of unique things and see what kind of, let'say feedback it gets and they may give us an idea how to make something that is more, let'say, practical to manufacture, but still give a custom look. From Guelph, Ontario, this is Adam for Transportation Matters. This episode has officially been tricked. I'm out. Dead low, out.
