Fleet Pride's long-term growth is about delivering the right part, the right place, right time, and that is the key for the long-term growth of the company. Fleet Pride must transform the supply chain in order to improve speed to customer and to drive profitable growth. In order to do the first t We will be doing t We are building two new distribution centers, one in Elgin, Illinois. It's a 150,000 square foot facility. It is completely designed for our business. The other facility that we're building is in Atlanta, Georgia, and it's very similar to t We developed t We have 10 doors one side just for the outbound, just for picking and s We also have 10 doors on the opposite side of the building for all the inbound. It makes us a lot more efficient all the way around. We put in and installed a new cantilever in our new prototype. It's a lot more robust, can hold a lot more weight. We can also go a lot We built it close to our roll-up doors to where we can actually back in a semi-truck right into the building, offload it and put it directly on the cantilever. The old method, we'd have to unload it outside and it would take us six hours to unload it and bring it in the building. From an efficiency standpoint, it's a big, big improvement. We came up with a new design for all of our deep and long product and we developed a 12-foot deep rack. Instead of a wire shelf, we actually put a flush flat shelf so the product can actually be slid in and slid out. So it gives us the ability for quicker put away, but more importantly, we're not ripping up the boxes and damaging the product as we're pulling it out. With the design of t One of our concerns was bulk. In bulk, we get a lot of brake shoes, we get a lot of dr And currently, we bulk stack those on the floor and it takes up a lot of space. With our new design, we actually implemented a two-deep and three-deep pushback rack that enabled us to go vertical and go up rather than going wide on the floor. We've implemented a three-tier mezzanine in t We're already seeing a 30% increase in productivity by batch picking. Bunch pickings allowed us to set up a pick-to-toe program for our smaller, fastest-moving parts. We've designed a new pick cart that allows us to pick nine branches at the same time in nine separate tokes. Not only does it make us more efficient, but it also maximizes truck capacity because we can stack these tokes WMS allows us to track performance and productivity better than any time before. The benefits of WMS include direct put away for faster dock to stock, improved order accuracy by scanning every part that is picked, and then productivity improvements through tracking performance by individual and work group. T We built heavier-duty racking throughout the building, a three-tier mezzanine, w More robust cantilever so we have less lifting, 12-foot deep racks for all of our larger bulkier parts, safety rails and b All these features help our employees go home at night in the same condition that they came to work that morning. As you can see, t We are building another distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia. It's a much bigger facility, has many of the same benefits as Elgin, and I am happy to announce that went live with the Atlanta DC in January on Inbound and will be going live without bound in February. We are doing a complete study of fleet-pride supply chain. We will be looking at the whole logistic network to build a roadmap for the future to see how we expand that system. Certainly there's more to come. It is an exciting time for fleet-pride supply chain and I couldn't be more proud of helping to contribute to its performance, its expansion, and its transformation.
