AROB is a father/son partnership that encompasses up and coming engineering ideas with practical experiences. It’s a unique challenge that I work beside my son Alex, who by far puts a new spin on concepts and designs. At AROB, we are the complete one-stop, from tubing rack to finished product performance group. Gene’s racing background started as a Grass Roots Racer and progressed through most of the NASCARs top series such as the Nationwide and Sprint Cup. He ran Bill Elliott’s program for a number of years before starting a Consulting/Development program that has been a great success. Gene most recently managed Gresham Motorsports program for five seasons with drivers such as David Reagan, Joey Logano, Beau Slocomb, and the latest Max Gresham who has also graduated to Joe Gibbs Racing to drive in their K&N Series. Before that program we also helped start Joey Clanton and Reed Sorenson’s careers. Gene’s career has lead to wins on almost every major race track on NASCARs circuits and road course success at Watkins Glenn and Sonoma. We started AROB with the idea that in the economic times we would try to find a way to be more efficient with cost to the racer. We offer hourly rates for racers on limited budgets, but we can handle complete race ready, turnkey type team programs where all the driver has to do is show up for a test or race.
