Major Performance Racing Engines has been building off-road racing engines that win for over 20 years. Started by Ken Major in 1988, Major Performance hit it hard with overall championships in SCORE with Doug Fortin Jr. and winning big races with Ryan Thomas, Steve Sourapas, Chris Harrold, & other well known racers in the early 1990's. Through the years Major Performance has always lead the way in results.Cross over racers like Jimmie Johnson, Brian Ickler, & Justin Lofton have worked with Major Performance to learn, progress, and move up the ranks to become some of the best in thier feild. Major Performance has been awarded 5 SCORE Engine Builder of the year awards 4 of which were awarded from most podium victories in a season. Major Performance is the only off-road engine builder to do this.
