Hey y'all what's up? It's been a minute since I've done a YouTube video. I'm sorry. No excuse I suck at doing YouTube videos, but I wanted to do this one on a little shop truck that I went and bought it is a 2018 Ford F-150 it is a 4x4 Regular cab pickup truck and let me tell you guys it is awesome I looked for several months trying to find one off and on I went to a page on Facebook called high-performance F-150s I typed in the search for F-150s for sale Scrolled through there for a bit and then I finally came across one that I Found out that it is in Las Vegas. So that means I had to fly All the way to Vegas to pick this thing up and then drive it back. That was the plan So you can see here. This is what the truck looked So it worked out just fine All right, let's talk about a couple things that as I walk around the truck that I want to change first and foremost The front grill in the headlights. Okay, this is an XL. It's a work truck. It's got the basic of The basic things on the truck So the first the grill that is an XL grill. I can't stand it. I think it's ugly And then the headlights are not great You can't see very far with them And they still look very cool. So let's go ahead and change that I'll show you what I did right here first being the headlights These are the Morimoto headlights and by the way y'all I will put all the part n But here's the headlights and then here's the grill That's what the grill looks The stock radio was about this big smaller than a cell phone not great, so I ordered a leaks well radio. It's basically a Direct bolt on bolt in It looks great And then the second thing I did is I ordered cat skin leather for the seats black leather For the interior so put both those in and this is what it looks 9 Whipple on top so This thing probably makes around 800 horsepower So a lot of power for a little daily driven trucks got the 325 pulley on there that is a small pulley But other than that the motor is pretty much stock One thing that has bothered me since the very moment I picked this truck up was the back end sits higher than the front This is supposed to be a 3-5 drop. It'supposed to sit level front to back this truck does not for some reason so The BME Investigated what's going on with it right when I got it home got underneath here And this is the setup that was underneath this truck when I got it home So as you can see it's got the traction bars there and then it's got some type of Shackle in the front of the spring that is not Somewhere you normally put a shackle much less with a flip kit on this truck You would not put a shackle in the front that just to beat defeats the purpose of having the flip kit So I took that piece off you can see it right here hold it my hand This is what it looks I want to learn how to launch it right how to do all the things You need to do to make this truck Leave as fast and as efficient as possible, right? So went and did a little test hit once again on a closed road in Somewhere in Mexico and here is that test pass. This is actually a launch from a dead stop on some 295 General tires, I mean, they're nothing special. They're not drag racing tires or anything Here we go So as you can see the truck it just leaves in four-wheel drive, that's how I launched it in four-wheel drive And it has very little spin of the tires It just kind of goes guys and I can tell you this thing is fast Poor little unsuspecting Mustangs and Camaros or Corvettes It's gonna be a bad day pulling up next to a pickup truck and nobody But I mean I can't Have a vehicle that's not turbo here so Potentially an on three setup something I appreciate it I'm gonna tell you that I want to do more content, but I suck.
