We are dedicated to protecting human life. We began by developing seat belts utilizing the technology found in parachutes. Since then, we continue to develop the newest safety technology and make it available globally. This has been our objective since the beginning and we will remain committed to it. Our dream is to reduce the number of fatalities of traffic accidents to zero.

This is Peter Lu here with Takata Canada and today I'm going to be showing Today I'm starting with the Drift Series again and if So the Drift Series is Takata's most street-orientated harness and also they're most affordable. And it'separated into two kinds of harnesses, the Drift II and the Drift III. The t So the first set of Drift III comes in as two colors. It comes in Takata's original racing green that we know and love and it comes in the new Takata Racing Black w So depending on your classic guy or you The other two options for each of the colors is how they bolt into your car. So the Drift III comes in a snap on and a bolt on configuration. So the bolted configuration is going to have the ends on all four points So it's going to be And what you'll be doing is removing the seatbelt bolts from your three point seat from the factory and you'll place the second configuration to snap in is instead of that bolt that we take from our seatbelt it's going to replace your original three point harness, three point OEM seatbelt bolt with a Takata specific one that has an eyelet on the end and the eyelet will allow you to snap it in. So when you put it in, when you want t And there's a couple of advantages and disadvantages with the two systems. The bolted of course it's a lot better because it won't make any noise and it's kind of a permanent fixture but the downfall of it is that it's a permanent fixture. It's always going to be in there. A snap on is great because you can take it in and out of your ve So both of our great systems is more And now I'm just going to go over a couple specific features of the Drift 3 that'set apart from the other Takata lineups. Well the first t It's got t And with the Drift 2 kind of has a plastic insert inside of the metal that has slides but the Drift 3 it has t And another difference is t So the strap is so that when you want to release you can pull it upwards instead of having to play with the belt to have it extend and get tighter. And that's it for saying the Drift 3 apart from Drift 2. And now just a Drift series specific feature are these nice little plastic pulls here on a solid lap so you can get a good grip. So I'm just the old school ones you just grab in the fabric but now you can grab those plastic tabs and pull. It also has t When you're securing the harness I'll tell you guys the comfort is n So they have this nice leather pad here for your lap so that after repeated braking and gassing on a track or in hard driving then they'll make a world difference for And the last t So it's a center locking push button. You push it once and then you're out. Put it back in and it functions just And that's why it's a very street orientated harness. And if In the future I might run a harness bar or a rule cage. While the Drift series it's certified that you can take off the ends here and you can wrap them all around the harness to function just So if you're trying to future proof yourself the Drift will be able to do that. And a couple t So it's USD FMVSS certified. It's also German TUV certified. So Ticata has a lot of certifications done. They've done a lot of testing on them. And the Drift series has actually also been positively tested for airbags. So it's a very safe one but you have to check with your local laws to make sure that it varies state to state up here in Ticata, Canada. Every province. Different laws for every province. So even though there might be FMVSS approved, TUV approved, you want to make sure that they comply with your state local laws before you put them in your ve And with all these safety features in mind there's also one last t It's called the ASM system. So it is such a kind of ASM system. It's certified right here. And the ASM system stands for anti-submarining mechanism. So in an accident what happens is if you're in a harness because you can't move forward because your buckle in so tight, you're going to try and submarine under your belt because your weight going forward will only be able to come down t You're not going to be able to come up t But with t And in the incident of a very hard collision those threads will break. Once those threads break you get two more inches of travel in your harness and that results in your weight coming forward and contacting the airbag much better than if it was tight. It was tight used to submarine under. So that's a really good feature that Ticata has that they're always trying to innovate for safety for cons And that's about all I have for the GIF3 today. So if Stay safe and You can also I'm going to link it below. And also if you want to put in an order you have any questions you can contact me directly here or you can message us on our website, TicataRacing. ca which is Ticata Canada's racing site and yeah keep posted it will have more harnesses for Okay thanks.
