This week, Injector Dynamics Releaser ID 1050X Injector and here's what we think you should know about it. The first thing that you should know about the ID 1050X is that it shares the same corrosion resistant internals that the ID 1300 and 1700 have. So if you're using a corrosive fuel or you've dealt with moisture issues in the past that have caused problems with your older injectors, that will be a thing of the past for this newer robust design. Another benefit is its short 34 millimeter body height. So if you have a BRZ or an LS platform where you had to space the fuel rail up before, you won't have to do that now with this newer style injector. The guys over at Injector Dynamics have also optimized the internal flow of the injector so it flows 5% more than the ID 1000 leaving it with a 1050X and it has a stronger magnetic circuit so it'stable in operation up to 10 bar or 145 psi. Injector Dynamics has also included a replaceable inlet filter so should you get something past the fuel filter or you've got debris in the system that you've missed during assembly, it kind offers a last line of defense instead of having to replace an injector, you can just replace the filter.
