Gearhead was founded in the late 1990s as an internet based powertrain distributor. The original office was located in the San Francisco Bay area, and the product offering predominately consisted of remanufactured engines. Following an internal restructuring, Gearhead now has sales offices in both California and Texas. While our forte is still remanufactured gasoline engines, we have greatly broadened our product offerings to include Rotary Engines, Diesel Engines, Marine Engines, Manual and Automatic Transmissions, Turbo Chargers, Short Blocks, as well as accessories for cars and light trucks.
