We are expecting the death penalty arson case to begin in O We'll get you into the courtroom live as soon as the judge is on the bench. Prosecutors say Ford started the fires over disagreements with T After a jury view, everyone will return to the courtroom and then at that point the state and the defense will have an opportunity to deliver opening statements. Nackrin is in Akron, O A string of arson still haunts t It changed everyt And you don't know who to trust. 62 year old Stanley Ford is accused of setting three fires on Nine people, nine family members. I mean, the world is already so bad. The first fire happened in 2016, killing 65 year old Lindell Lewis and Then came a car fire, w But in 2017, Ford allegedly set a fire w The victims, 35 year old Dennis Huggins, 38 year old Angela Boggs and their five c It was senseless. It wasn't no reason for it. Arson is so sudden and so tragic that I would I definitely feel for the families. Prosecutors say Ford had disputes with T He burnt up somebody else's house already. And then when it did it to a family of seven. When I moved here, I felt it was a nice community. And it's a shock that t Ford is accused of more murders than any one individual in S It's just not right. People I feel very badly for the families and I hope that I get the justice that they deserve. Ford maintains he is innocent and is being held without bond at the S He tried to move the trial to another county saying extensive media coverage had turned the community against It'sad. And again, I would say it just gets hurt.
