Tahoma Glass was established in 1996 by sole owner/operator Tim Gravseth. Tim has worked in the auto glass industry for over 35 years. He was working for large glass corporations when he realized he could offer a higher quality of service and product, not to mention a great price and while being his own boss. In 1996, Tim bought his first red Ford van, and with no employees, offering strictly mobile service to his loyal customers, he opened Tahoma Glass. In 20 years, Tahoma Glass has expanded to three mobile vans as well as a shop in the Motor Sports Plaza just outside of downtown Puyallup. Though his company has grown, Tim still puts great emphasis on offering quality in all aspects of the business, such as workmanship and price. Tahoma Glass is a small company that offers excellent customer service from the simple rock chip repair for your grandmother, to the big commercial truck fleets. Tim had the chance to expand with a larger corporation, but he continues to choose to stay small so he can offer a small-company, family-owned service versus the big corporate business mentality of having to deal with someone not even in the same city you are calling from. Tahoma Glass also specializes in custom flat glass for all hot rods and classic vehicles.
