Want to reserve the shop? Simply visit our website, autoshop.union.rpi.edu and click the reservations tab! Reservations take priority over walk in customers, if the lift is free and no-one is scheduled we go to first come first serve, Please be punctual, if there's a walk in waiting we'll give your spot to them after 10 minutes/ to the next person who has a reservation. Make sure to put down the job you are doing and an estimated length of time, and add up to an hour for anything intensive. We want to avoid double bookings. We are the Rensselaer Student Auto Shop! We have the tools, space and advice to help you get your automotive jobs done. We're located behind the Armory. Come through the gates (Open at 5pm Weekdays, All day weekends) next to the Union. Hours are Thursday Friday 5-9, sometimes Saturday 12-4. Our rates are: Lift - $10.00 per hour Bay - Inside - $5.00 per hour - Outside - $2.00 per hour when shop is full Bench space - $2.00 per hour Tire Mounting and Balance - $4.00 per tire Tire disposal - $2.00 per tire Computer scanner - $10.00 per use Headlight alignment - $10.00 per use Battery charger - $1.50 per charge Members can earn free shop time!
