Okay, we're getting ready to install the rear differential skid plate from Remittable Racing. 316 inch steel. Comes with a skid plate, mounting bracket, and bolts. Let's get ready. First thing we have to do, again safety first, always wear glasses or safety glasses, a helmet, and a light when you go underneath the car. That said, let's proceed with the install. These are the bolts and nuts that came with it. Instruction manual. It tells you step by step how to remove. You will need a 14mm range or socket, a torque wrench with 19 foot pounds. So really simple, you have instructions, you have pictures. First thing we have to do is loosen these two bolts right here, 14mm, and removing this bolt, so three bolts. So we can install the bracket this way, 14mm. Just enough space to put the bracket in. So with the remove bolt, I always put a damp off blue lock tight. Install the bracket, tighten it by hand first, and then insert these two just Make sure it'seated properly. If everything is tightened, get your torque wrench and set it to 19 foot pounds. Alright, that's good. The next step would be removing this two 17mm head nut right here. Then a damp off lock tight. Now place your skid plate, and use the head bolt that comes with the kit. Hand tight first, fit the skid plate to the bracket properly. Next, grab your M6 nut and bolts, total of three nuts, three bolts, and place it in your bracket. But before that, again, lock tight. It doesn't say that you have to put a lock tight, but I love lock tight. So I put lock tight on everything. Just a damp. Blue lock tight, okay, blue. Not the red one. Now mount it that way, hand tight again. Perfect. Next we'll be tightening this bolt to the bracket, size 4 hex key and 10mm wrench to hold the nut. Only 10 foot pounds, so hardly any pressure. I didn't have my small torque wrench, but 10 foot pounds, just guesstimate. Don't over tighten it just enough. Let's go back again. Triple time. Okay. The final step will be torquing these two nuts back to 50 foot pounds. I will suggest getting a chrome socket because clearance is an issue. So first, hand tight it. I set my torque wrench to 50 foot pounds. Torque wrench set to 50 foot pounds, 14mm chrome socket wrench. Turbo check. Triple check. Okay. Installation is now complete. Very simple to install. If you have the tools, you can do it yourself. You don't need to go to the shop, but if you have resources, you can go to the shop and have them installed. Me, I am a little bit OCD and I prefer to do everything myself because trust is an issue. Okay. This is it. Install. All right. Thank Our next install will be the Primitive Racing 316H Stainless Steels Engine Skid Plate.
