last year we introduced you to Betty Smiley who wanted to restore her late husband's vehicle with city classic cars but Smiley claims nothing happened Chase Tablog shared a similar story with us days after our original reports and today this is Charles Johnson he's trying to get his $20,000 back in each case they admit to signing a contract with city classic cars. I just want my money The contract you never got to work you never done work on my vehicle so why are you holding my money? But you referenced the contract I could hear them saying but you signed this contract. Yes for them to do a service they didn't do a service. Previous stories I've done with city classic cars they've said that they always have a contract your client admits to having signing that contract but isn'that contract solid saying that hey we will do this job for this payment. Yes and as a matter of fact the car is still located with my client in Arkansas. The company city classic cars doesn't even have the vehicle in their possession they have never had the vehicle in their possession. Are you suggesting since the work didn't starts even though they did have this contract the contract shouldn't be the final say so? It should not be a final say so. I mean you in order to earn the money on a contract you got to fulfill what you promised to give Mr. Johnson and that was never completed. City classic cars attorney said Johnson requested they refund his $20,000 to an unknown account.
