Okay, t I filmed the first little part of it and today's video and I don't know, it got deleted or I lost it on my phone, who knows. Either way, let's pretend t Okay, so here we go. It is snowplow related. It is the three quarter inch cutting edge for the plow. It's kind of funny how it comes in the box. They say it should last a long time, but it's really flexible. So that's it. Let'see. I don't know. It's got a few bubbles on it, but I hope that's not going to really affect it. I don't So I'm going to let t It's a little bit cold, so it just came in from outside. I'm going to let it kind of flatten out here and then we're going to put it on. I know you use your old cutting edge as a gasket. We have instructions here. They say that it should last quite a bit. I don't know if we're going to read those or not, but I t But we'll put it on and then we'll have to wait for some snow to try out. I have a concrete driveway, so I don't want the metal blade chewing that up. T It should be nice and soft on it. So we'll see how it works. Okay, so here we are outside. I plan on getting there's a few of these carriage bolts here. And we're going to take those out and then take the blade off here. What I'm going to do is let'see, raise it up. And then for safety, Let'see here. Get there we go. And then we're just going to have that underneath it just in case. There we go. So, alright, so now that it's resting on that, I mean, Okay, so here we go. All the bolts are off here. That one out. And then here we go. Here's our blade. Sorry. Blade. And then the holes. We're going to bring t And in the, I guess, But mine are in the top of the blade. So it'supposed to center your blade this way, so I may have to kind of still drill the holes in the center and then, I went out. These are what the original carriage bolts are. Those are definitely too short. So I went out and got an inch and a quarter here. And those will definitely go, they'll go right through. They're going to actually go through it t You see the difference there. So that was the next step up from here. So what I'm going to do now is let's measure. I know it's four inches, so we're going to measure here. Okay, we're going to go here and we're going to mark it. Two inches. Okay, I'm down here. I'm going to mark her at two inches. Okay, and then, you'll get a chocolate. I And hopefully it sticks to the plastic all right. Okay, so there's our center. And then now I'm going to put the blade on top of that and then mark out where we're going to do our holes. But I'm going to maybe clean it up first. The back of it's really dirty. You can see here where it was worn. Hopefully you can see that where it's really on the edges there and even in here. The mount was bent when I got it. So I took it to a mac They straightened it for me. And now it works pretty well. So hopefully it'll wear more even because before it was just wearing not so good. So, I'll put the line of these up here with the center. Kind of I'm going to mark my holes here. Let'see right up over there. Okay. As long as we have that. It's exactly four feet. T I ordered t So we'll kind of just mark the middle of each hole. Lift her up. And, Okay. I'm going to take my square here. I'm just going to give myself a bigger mark so we know exactly where we're drilling. And then the drill. I'm going to use a drill press for t Just because I want them to be straight, I don't want them to go in at angle. And I know if you don't have a drill press, that's fine. You can just use a regular drill and it'll be all right. Okay. So, that's not going to be big enough. You have to go up on the drill bit. So, swap that out. I see now. I want it to be tight, so I'm just going to go up one. Okay, that first hole was 5. 16. T 8 and then the rest of them, I'm going to go with a really smaller drill bit and then, Make sure you get it dead center and then I'm going to move up. Okay, so here we go. We have our, I don't know if I, This stuff is So, I hope it doesn't, And hopefully it doesn't wear, they said just get a few seasons out of it. I hope it doesn't wear too much. I drilled my hole really tight, So I'm just taking a, And then, Kind of screw it in a little bit. It will bite. And then I'll, Let'see, so it And then hammer it the rest of the way through. So, I'll do that with the rest and then show you how it looks. Okay, so here's the, T So, so that's the part that goes to the plow. And then so I could use these heads and the nuts have, So it, So they're not going to back out. The square for the carriage bolt on this blade, So I would just, You can find them. I don't even know if they're stainless, but they came with it. It's They're kind of rusted, but not really. Um, anyways, so I'm going to go put this on the plow and then we'll, Okay. So here it is on the, That's how it looks. It looks like there's only a small edge here, but when you actually, when you actually look from behind, there's at least, So we got at least an inch. So if there's lots of wear that it can go, I guess if it gets bad, it can do somet I guess I'll have to figure it out when I get there, but it looks I'll put it down and see how it looks on the ground. Let'see here. Okay. So here we go. On the ground kind of goes with the yellow. So just a little bit of luck, I guess. Um, yeah, let'see what, I t So it's even pressure. And they put if you're, if you are noticing a little bit of chatter, then they said, And then I should put And then once you have that angle, then you're good. Should be good at least. I got to really tighten them up a bit more. Um, if you like this video, check out my other video where I, So it's, Anyways, If you have a nice concrete driver or pavers or something Um, and, Okay, one more t I, I still left them on there. Otherwise there's no point. The whole point of t You can scrape right down.
