Innovation By Design

By 2030, Singapore's population will increase by over a million, hence the growing demand for housing, infrastructure, and transportation. Half of the citizens are also temporary, stopping by to work or study for only a short period of time. T By looking up to the data, Singapore needs to focus on the increasing n Singapore also needs to face the problems of the aging population as well as the other communities that may need additional services. In the future, there will be stronger demands for providing a transportation that is safe, easily accessible, and able to cater the needs of all population. How can we all get along for designing a better mobility? The National Design Center, also known as NDC. Then we make it into visualization, into a prototype, and then we offer to them to be tested. Then we get the attrition from that until the prototype becomes a real product and then we launch it to them. Most of the group members are coming from different backgrounds, material science, electronics engineering, product design, and 3D interactive media technology. It's important to have teams with different backgrounds because people coming from different backgrounds can provide a fresh perspective and a collaboration of ideas. After the ideas are selected, it's time to visualize them into prototypes. The prototypes are made from low fidelity materials. Working with a team is actually very important because personally I came from electronics background and working with a design team actually helped me came up with many different ideas and understand different perspectives and taking different opinions from each other and combining it to further develop a solution that we came up with.
