Detroit Speed, Inc. is owned by Kyle Tucker and was created to provide automotive components and systems which deliver late model vehicle ride and handling expected from a world class OEM vehicle. Detroit Speed, Inc. has developed its own line of products that have been through extensive engineering analysis, testing, and development to assure our customers receive the highest quality performance parts with eye appeal.
It's been together now, I t So that's one of the reasons we build these cars and we run these cars so much to not only help our product line and continuous improvement, but also help our customers that run our parts to support them and thinking back over the eight years, Of course, our mini tubs in the back and quadri-link and rear suspension subframe connectors, really the you know, the gamut of Detroit Speed parts for a second gen Camaro came from this car and currently it rides on BFGoodrich rival S tires that we've been through a lot on the car, the Bear 6 piston brakes, the 6S, the 6R calipers, a Mast LS7, black label engine dry so Everybody wanted the first gen Camaros, Firebirds and So anyway, bought the car off eBay and Georgia and started, It was just a plain blue automatic 350 two barrel car and we ran it with leaf springs and our bolt on suspension parts that first year on the street and after that it kind of evolved each year to what you see today and didn't really ever paint the car. It had an eBay quality paint job on it at the time that was blue and we kept it blue, but So then it had a fresh paint job and I t So again, it's had its share of issues, but it's been reliable, It's somet And it's that event super competitive as it always has been and no different than the Optima series now, It's fun to road course and it's fun to autocross. I t So it's just been neat to run the car all over the country and have been pretty successful with it, but also had some wins. But
