Alrighty, today we're going to be wrapping t We're going to be using nyflus tape as well just to kind of show you the gist of it. Okay. Okay, just These are by YellowTools. com, HD magnets and then we have another one over there by Hexis. Alright, let's get started. We've got our Avery Denison wrap glove. Just go ahead and pull t Cut t Okay. I'm not sure why it's doing t Okay. Sorry about that. Cut. It's okay. All these wrinkles or creases you see right now can easily be taken away with heat. Just kind of restrating t Okay. Let's take the solid back cap off. Okay. Make sure to move t It's almost Okay, everyt Now what we're going to do now is just kind of glass it. Just get everyt Basically going to want to do t I recommend using a felt squeegee for t Okay. The majority looks pretty good. Just go on along. Take some pictures. Okay. Here we're using Metra Styling'simple Felt Squeegee with their Polyspray 2. Purchased all t com. Even the vinyl Metra Styling. com or www. fellers. com. They both carry great products. T You don't need to spray that much. Just kind of wetting the surface. Wetting the tip of it or the felt of it. Okay. What I love about the rim is it's very easy to use. Very, very easy. That snap crackle pop there you're hearing is just the air releasing. Obviously. Once I've laid everyt Some people do actually cut thoroughly but you each have to have a very, very steady hand. A very steady light hand. Not a lot of pressure. You don't want to cut on the, you don't want to cut through the clear coat into the paint and such causing rushed issues and such later on. That's pretty much the process as far as it goes. The antenna, the shark fin antenna, it isn't even antenna. It's a little nub. Very easy to remove. Simple. What was it? 17? 17 or 16. We can get a clean install with everyt It just comes out a lot nicer. If you want, you can go ahead and wear your squeegee again if you feel it's getting a little too dry. We go ahead and wet the surface you're working on. I prefer to wet the squeegee. But then sometimes It's just personal preference really. Nope, that's not good right there. You can go ahead and use your finger. I mean, they're not very, very big wrinkles. That's what I love. I love about 3M sometimes. If you want stuff That's actually what I'm going to do. Just get rid of the wrinkle. The vinyl is very forgiving when it comes to heat. Just throw a little heat on there on your wrinkle or whatever. Any good to go. Try to glass it before you continue laying down. I've already lost where I've recently wrapped. There's create a bridge. You don't want that. Again, with the heat gun if you want, go ahead and go back over that. I'll go back and go over all the creases or anyt Double check from far away. I messed up on t I'm going to come back. Again, so you don't run into any issues The best to try and glass it. Get everyt If you can't, you've got to work with what you're getting. I'm already seeing scratches in the vinyl. I'm not sure if it's debris. Just go ahead and throw a light mist over the parts you're working on. The heat gun on that's pretty much it as far as glassing it out goes. Alrighty, I've already laid everyt Now basically what I'm doing now is the knife list tape. Once I lay everything down, I go ahead and bring back up the edges and go ahead and lay the knife list tape in just Let me go ahead and show you. If you don't know what knife list tape is, it's basically Now there's this thin little wire between this green filament and this other green filament it's On t I already have everything pound out for you and as you can see right here, all we're going to do is just go ahead and pull this back and it should cut it just Sometimes I have a real hard time at getting a good grip at that so what I sometimes recommend is pair of pliers with a good pair of teeth. This has a really nice pair of teeth so just There you go. That's literally all there is to it. I'm going to go ahead and peel back the cut piece. You'll see sometimes there's this other piece that sometimes can get caught so make sure to grab both of them and then just T Great for creating straight lines at anyt I mean knife list tape, they have it for vinyl, they have it for paint protection film, and they have it for chrome now I believe. So if you haven't heard of t Normally what I do afterwards is get my heat gun. Go ahead and heat all then you're going to go back over it either with your squeegee or with your vinyl wrap glove. I find the vinyl wrap glove to be a little bit easier. A lot easier actually and sometimes a squeegee can actually scratch the vinyl. W There you go. I'm not going to go ahead and do the other side just for the sake of the time of the video but I'm just going to go ahead and show you now basically how to create a nice fold. Okay. Normally all t Let me just make sure it's right at the edge of the glass. I mean you get a good nice seal and you're going to get your blade. I Try to find that gap wherever the gap may be. Put the edge of your razor blade on the edge of the glass not the edge of the paint nor anywhere else and then just slowly glide across that. That's going to give your perfectly straight line. You're not cutting on the paint. You're not cutting on the body. You're cutting on the edge of t Okay. And then once you've cut all that back away cut it all back away, peeled back away. Then you just want to come in here lay it down fold it in and get your squeegee tuck it in real nicely and you go to go ahead and put your antenna back on and that's your roof wrap. The best way to keep up or to take care of matte brown wrap is some sort of solution that'specified for t I personally don't have matte or satin wraps so I've never endured the process but I mean I have read upon it that there are solutions out there to protect it more in the long run since t But yeah there it is guys and gals.
