During Adventure So we took a few minutes to talk to Tim O'Dell from Vice Unlimited about their Diamond T Ultra 4 car. Here's what he had to say. What's going on guys? Tim O'Dell here, owner of Vice Unlimited. Be So we have it out here this weekend at the New Wari National Forest at the Adventure So We already had it out a little bit and we'll ramp around and it's a good time. So I can tell you a little more about it if you want to do that. So basically the Diamond T is an Ultra 4 car. Ultra 4 is a racing series. You may have heard of King of the Hammers and some of those events. So basically it's a race car for that event. So Ultra 4 is kind of So you do So that's kind of what it is. Kind of the Swiss Army knife. So up in the front, you got independent front suspension, 9 inch diff, hammer portals at the hubs. Raccon-Pinion steering. Then of course you've got the Fox 40 lobe and bypasses. And then running Nitto's and the Hutc And then kind of moving back, fuel cell is in the front. Trophy truck style, raccon-Pinion steering. And then it's, So I really wanted this to be Something So yeah, you got the old patina 1946 Diamond T cab that I kind of, Hot rod truck. So inside, It runs off of an iPad. So it's kind of a techy t Kind of wanted to bring in the tech and the rustic look, kind of a cool contrast. But runs out of an iPad, a Holley, fuel injection, Holley display, all al Got a turbocharged six liter LS motor that's dry-s Forge, bottom end in the motor, mild tune, not Still can drive it on the street, that sort of t But then trailing on suspension, pour-over, bypass, all the coolers, radiators, all that's in the back. And yeah, 14-volt rear axle flipped upside down to turn backwards because of the mid-engine. There's a lot of t N And that oil's the opinion bearing. It's a lot of details in took me a couple years to build it, but it's been a lot fun. So Vison Limited, we're a shop, kind of in the Charlotte area. We build. . . My background is off-road, that's kind of what I'm passionate about. But we also do hot rods and street stuff too. We're doing a 69 Camaro right now. We're doing quite a few different t I kind of have a rod. So that's why it's a hot rod and an off-road t It'somet But yeah, so we just build. We take on two, three big projects a year and build them.
