Welcome to Susie'secret Recipes in the Little Country Store. And It has been so hot here lately, but today it's absolutely beautiful. It's about 88 degrees, w And so it looks And so it's really, I'm really excited about it because we're transitioning into fall, w And so Richard's over at the fire pit getting t And we're going to be having cowboy frybread tacos. And so Austin's on He has a hydrograp So hang with me guys and we'll get t Hello folks. Today we are going to make some cowboy Indian tacos. And I usually put a little bit of black pepper and salt on it. Maybe a lot of pepper. And put a little bit of salt. We don't need a whole lot of that. We also It is Kent Rollins' original or mesquite flavored seasonings. He also has some barbecues and different t So this is, I T Season it up. I usually use quite a lot of it. So we'll switch over and get the big boy. So we end up buying it in my big bag. Let's give all t We're cooking outside today on the Blackstone Grill griddle. And it has a couple of burners off on the side here. That's what we're using today. Once we get our hamburger meat almost browned, I'm going to turn around and light the fire in the fire pit. Get t And we're going to hang a cast iron pot off of that over the hot coals. And we're going to cook our fry bread in the oil over the fire. So I'll keep you informed as we go along. All right, well, we got our fire going here we got some old cast iron pots and a big old, it's We decided to go ahead and season them up w It was all rusty and it never really took care of. So we decided to go ahead and do it. Get them fixed up w And then when the coals die down a little bit more, we'll start cooking our fry bread. So here's our two cast iron. T And then my mom's Dutch oven. Both of them were so rusty. And so we threw it into the hot coals and got it to t As you can see, a lot of it come off. We'll probably have to do some sanding on it before we season it. T So I mean, it's a deep crack actually almost all the way through. So what I'm going to do with it is I'm going to put succulents in it. So we don'throw anyt It'll make a cute little pot for some succulents. We are out here at our fire pit. Had a good fire going. We've got a good bed of coals, hot coals. I threw in a couple of extra logs in there just to keep the fire going. I got our Dutch oven hanging over the fire. I've got, that's a 12 inch Dutch oven if you want to know. And we got about three to four cups of peanut oil and the Dutch oven. And that is what we're going to fry our cowboy, fry bread in. So as we get our peanut oil going hot, we will mix up our dough and get it out here and get the cooking. Let's get ready to make the dough. So you're going to take two cups of all-purpose flour and put it into the bowl. Then you're going to take two and a half teaspoons of baking powder. We put it in. Then you're going to take just a dash of salt. We'll just kind of go Okay. Then you're going to take two teaspoons of sugar. And then you're going to add a cup of buttermilk. D And then you're going to stir it. Now it's going to be a little sticky, but that's how you want it. Once you've got your dough ready, you can see we're going to pinch off pieces and make it into a ball. And so what I'm going to do is just put it back in the bowl and cover it until Richard is ready. He's getting the Dutch oven ready to fry the bread. Alrighty folks, we got our dough mixed up. This is what it looks Get it to the point where you can handle it. What you want to do is pinch off a little ball of it and just start working it around Depending on how t Just kind of lay it in there And then we're going to put t I'm going to make a few more first. I'm pretty sure. . Alright, let's go over to the more what t A little Susie's. Cowboy fry bread. I had to be too little for her. Let's just add it to then we're going to drop them all into the barn. There's only going to be three of us eating today. Me and Susie and Austin. So we only made enough to do three fry breads. You don't want your fry bread too t I kind of It'll puff up a little bit. But if you get it too thin, then I don't But you don't want it too t Because it won't be done in the middle of the fry bread before the outside stuff. So, about this thick right here is what I And it's probably about a quarter to three-eighths of an inch t Alright, let's get them in the oil. We'll let then we're going to flip it again on the other side and make it dark brown. And then, once it gets good and golden brown on both sides, then we're taking them out of the grease. And we're going to have us a hot cowboy Indian taco. Alrighty guys, the fry bread is ready to take off the hot grease. And it's golden brown Both sides are golden brown. And it's going to be some good, good keeping. Going inside, just makes a taco. Well folks, the cowboy Indian tacos were and Susie and Austin enjoyed them. And Susie'secret recipe, salsa. She makes her own salsa line and it comes in medi Personally, I But I tell you what, when you put t But it goes good with anyt And so we all enjoyed the cowboy fry bread tacos. They were really, really good. Richard did a good job. And we're fixing to go see what Austin is up to. And so he's going to be doing some hydro dipping. So let's go see what he's up to. Doing my hydro dipping right now. T And right now, the customer picked t It's called Masioke Open Country. W I still got the whole body to do and everyt Okay, t What we do is it comes in these rolls. And we cut it to whatever size we got. And what t And what we'll do is we'll go ahead and lay it on the water. And the water in our tank is up to 90 degrees. T We'll smooth that out and then it's ready for us to spray the activator. Alright, so what t And what we'll do is we'll spray it with our activator. And it will turn t It melts the pattern. And then whenever we dip the part in it, it will wrap around any three-dimensional part. Okay. Alright, the film is activated now, w Here's our part. What I'm going to do is I'm going to start down here where it will wrap around. Now what we'll do is we'll take it outside and rinse it off. And let it dry and then get ready for spray clear. Okay. So as you can see, the wind is picking up. It feels absolutely wonderful out here, though.
