My name is Mike Dusold with Dusold Designs in Lewisville, Texas and we're here in the Garrett advancing motion booth with our 1965 Mustang that we built for our customer Martin Amati. So a few years ago my friend Mark came to the shop with a Mustang on a pallet. It didn't have a floor or anything, it was basically just a shell with a lot of rusty parts and he had a vision of a track capable cool looking muscle car and through a few years of hard work and working with making the car trackable to match what we did with our Camaro we came up with this here and we wanted to have a bunch of horsepower so went with a small block Ford all al So we have to really manage temps and in managing those temps we're able to let the car live because turbo cars build a lot of heat so cooling was a very big priority with this build and this car runs a paddle shift setup so it's just The car will make about 1100 horsepower and 1100 foot pounds of torque so the car has a lot of carbon fiber body panels many of them are from Ring Brothers it has the Ring Brothers carbon hood, roof, trunk and doors it's got mire carbon fenders and then we built a custom carbon rear valance and rear tail panel for it so lots of carbon to keep it light and it also has a fully functional front splitter design it's got some cool aero bits and it has a fully functional rear diffuser the air ducts here the vents and the fender are designed to also cool and alleviate pressure from the front wheel openings to help with downforce so there's a lot of cool tricks in the car as far as aero and body work.
