CID Heads was started by John Konstandinou. It is the culmination of over two decades of experience manufacturing cylinder heads and intake manifolds. It all started with the founding of CHI Cylinder Heads in the late 1990's out of Australia, designing and manufacturing the CHI Australian Hemi 6 alloy cylinder head and progressed to the world renowned CHI 3V Cleveland Cylinder heads and intake manifolds, as well as the Commander Windsor Intake Manifolds among others. CHI was sold in 2009 before I moved to the USA. Nowadays at Competition Induction Designs USA we are focusing on the BE-LS7 intake manifold, our Big Block Chevy Heads and matching intake manifolds as well as our Gen V LT1 cylinder heads. The BE-LS7 intake manifold and the Gen V LT1 cylinder heads are manufactured in the USA. The CID BB Chevy heads and manifolds, whilst a product of CID USA, are manufactured in Australia.
