This is a somewhat Storage that can be a private cloud up to eight terabytes of 2. 5 inch SSD or hard drive and It's quite straightforward. Why well It's magnetically attached to the cover and you access your 2. 5 inch SSD or hard drive And it could go up to thickness of 14 millimeters. So that's great But here we go You have a lever here that releases the SSD and this is actually how you push it inside because when you take it out And here we go. So you get an empty chassis that Well, basically doesn't have any cooling. That's for sure But the interesting part is that you use your 2. 5 inch SSD I would suggest pushing it just a bit inside because you can't push it inside On the connector with this diagonal and then just use the lever again And it pushes the 2. 5 inch SSD Inside the connector to the fullest which can be used as a storage, of course. Now, let's break it down. We have two indication lights one is for the disk and one is for the status You have the magnetic cover and you have a personal cloud storage here with qr codes Which you can use for ios android and i'm not sure this QR code the third one because it's written in I think this is Chinese But you have an application for your windows mac android and ios It's easy to scan the QR code And that's it. Please be sure to unplug or insert the hard drive when the device is turned off. Okay Totally understandable Then when we go to the next thing, so let's put this back At the back we have usb type c. We have a reset button. We have dc input for 12 volts We have land connection one gigabit ethernet port and you have a power on button Straightforward I would say straightforward at the bottom. We have four rubber feet I mean, there's no rotation in the ssd. I do think you'll be using ssd is more than the hard drives And it actually when the magnetic clip when the magnet actually holds it you have some rubber pads here And that's it. I don'think you could access it from the inner part. I think these rubber parts are yeah They are covering Four holes for your screws so you can access it and give you a possibility to Enter and maybe do some Upgrades to it, but i'm not quite sure if that is even possible now inside the box apart from the dm1 you get Land cable and you get the power adapter Which goes depending on your location I got the eu socket and it can be locked unlocked if you have some sort of a possibility to grab different Connection parts for your wall socket. That's also a possibility Now let's check out the details and specs So we have al 5 millimeters The cpu is quad core arm cortex a 55 1 gigabit ddr form ram We have one gigabit ethernet port. We have usb 3. 2 generation one type c and dc in So it supports 2. 5 inch sata ssd or hard drives And i forgot to mention you get also the type a to type cable as well So apart from connecting it directly to your network local network You can also connect it directly with The usb cable which is also in the box, but i totally forgot to mention it. I don't know why Regardless of that you do get the cable So everything inside the box is here except for the ssd or hard drive which you do need to grab So in addition to the specs, I did mention we have one gigabyte ddr form memory capacity But we also have eight gigabytes of emmc flash capacity, which is outstanding as well And the usb 3. 2 type c is 5 gigabit per second. So you can already Pres Now when you connect it with a type cable to type a directly to your pc You don't have to do anything specifically it detects the ssd as a regular ssd connected to your pc So there's that now when you connect it to your Ethernet port here and to your local i don't know if you have a router modem or directly to your wall socket You do need to install the vline Application so as I stated you can go on android ios you can go with mac or you can go with windows And it's really straightforward as you can see from the close up or from the screenshot I downloaded it on ios and it's really straightforward. You create an account They send you an email with verification code This is how you authorize the access to the new registered account and after that you just have to search Your local network for this dm1 So everything after that is really straightforward because you can Share your photos videos and everything else you can do Sharing for two for others if you create some additional accounts And of course what you can do else except for that is you can do backups from your phone Is it pictures videos? Contacts or anything similar to that as you can see you have loads of options Inside the application which is outstanding for the windows options. You have the same thing almost you can access it Quite straightforward Now there's one thing that I would Here's the thing So I first started with my pc and when you try to register over there the captcha won't Show so you can't actually register So what I would suggest is that you register your profile over your phone and when you do all of that Work you just go into the app on your windows and just enter the credentials and that's all that is to it This is how you'll be able to easily access because I was limited with the captcha and It didn't show I have no blockers. I have no blocking in the firewall because it switched off so Might be my antivirus Possibly because it does block a lot of stuff Unnecessary or if I didn't place the throughput to be able to do it But regardless of that what happened is when I registered over my phone and entered the credentials on my pc It noticed it immediately. So yeah, I think there'something here But to make it easier for you guys I 5 gigabits per second Usb type a then of course it will be much slower all in all. It's quite interesting and the application on the phone looks outstanding. I do have to say really user friendly and the thing is that it's not buggy It works quite out quite nice quite solidly.
