We're finally done with the Miata We can show you guys the color now It's been really hard to film around this car and not let you see the color the finished product is done And we can show you guys exactly what it looks Here it is Today in this video we're gonna be talking about the goods and the bads that we experienced at Mako first things first the price the final outcome for this paint job was 1166 92 a little bit more than what we wanted And I feel Luckily we're during may apparently they have a Mother's Day sale where the urethane paint job W So we got the urethane paint I can't really speak to the $500 paint job at t So if you just wanted to get this car shot with no body work or anything It's basically a high-fill primer Makes the paint look a little bit better if you weren't happy with the body work that you did yourself So we opted for that kind of We opted for both doors now 150 each it's $300 right off the bat. The reason why we did that was because it looks so bad ass Kind of now there is a flaw to they literally said oh you want the door jams done I'll paint the door jams if we didn'take this off they were going to spray it if we didn'take this off They were gonna spray it they sprayed all the bolts and all the latches I mean I'm paying for $150 per thing you think that they would have messed this up or something like that, right now for $150 per jam you would think that they would Get every spot right well no apparently not every make-over was like this We originally went down to the ox turn location if you're in California, Southern California They did not mask up I we took everyt I figured they would have covered that now to the back of the car They literally said fuck your exhaust screw your suspension It's gonna be blue today, and that's just what they did they literally sprayed everyt We're swapping it out So it doesn't really matter to me, but if I wasn't and I had some nice tome exhaust or whatever I'd be pissed. I don't know about This is the worst tape line I have ever witnessed in painting history I just How do you guys I hope make a watching how do you guys miss this now when I brought the car to them I said two things that I would really That's it And they couldn't even do that both headlamps on t I will say and make those behalf they are going to be taking the car back in Alina's actually dropping it off after she gets off work tomorrow to go get these corrections made one t I get it That doesn't mean you can over spray on all the parts in the car It's not big, but how do you miss that too? Alina did a great job on the body work There is one section of that she did go a little bit too low and you can see it in the right lighting And I can't even see it right now. It's like right here so We live and learn body work is not easy But this was a great chance for Alina and I to kind of get our hands on real body work We did it once before in the past before we wrapped the car, but nowhere to the extent actually Alina did 99% of the work so go give her a th I'll leave the link above go check that out if you haven't seen the video already We show how to prep the entire car basically now before we set the car in we took everyt We even went down to take the winds You got to get I think you have to get new glass But I'm not a hundred percent sure we cut it out because we knew were gonna get glass We did this because to avoid a tape line by removing the weather stripping around here They were able to get all the inside of there so there wasn't any red showing We got there at five o'clock. They close at 5 30 They were very rude. I mean I get it you want to go home and whatever it was done in Three days I called them to get pictures and updates for I mean even when you get up close to it There is a little bit of orange peel. There is a couple fish eyes here and there but it's a 30 year old car is kind of a budget thing and It looks pretty good It looks better than it did before and that's the most important part that were worried about If they didn't miss any spots and over spray It's Do you have a s You want to get it painted?
