In 1969 Turnpike Motors Autobody was opened in Newington, Connecticut by Doug Fernandez, Sr. Since opening, our company has grown from five employees to 45 and from 7 bays to 36 bays. Our facility features modern high-tech equipment, a highly trained staff, and a clean, customer friendly environment. I just wanted to go over a couple of the things that we're doing here to make sure that our customers and community are remaining safe. Were thankful enough to one of our customers and also one of the members of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce was able to secure some wipes for us, which have been very, very helpful in disinfecting cars before our employees have touch them. We are making sure that after any time someone rings our doorbell or has to utilize our door handle, we are disinfecting it. I wanted to show at least a little bit of what we're doing to disinfect cars. Obviously, we're going to be wiping any of the commonly touched surfaces by our customers. We do allow cars to sit a little bit before we get in them, so we're checking them in. We're wiping down door handles. We're wiping down the steering wheel, the center console. It's commonly touched areas so that when our technicians get in there, they'relatively safe. You can see that we're utilizing some. We're using social distancing within our shop, keeping guys separated that would normally work in teams. We're working around that. Guys are wearing the PPE that we have available, still no N95s, but we do have different other types of respirators that we use on a daily basis. So we're utilizing those. As always, our cars always go through a detailed process at the end of our repairs, just And that gives us an opportunity to disinfect it one more time. When people do come to pick up their vehicle, we are disinfecting them a final time just to be thorough. If We're all ears. We just want to make sure that we're doing the very best we can to keep our customers, our employees, and our community safe.
