Swab Collision

Hello, Dreyer family. It's Greg, the Dreyer guy. Today's video will spotlight Schwab collision in Mason, Mic Mel Schwab, the owner, is on the cutting edge of the collision business. What I mean is state-of-the-art quality and everyt Mel works on all types of collision cases but specializes in classic restoration. T Mel paints with waterborne paints as well as solvent-based products. Let's meet Mel and take a quick tour through Okay, now in Schwab, we have Schwab collision. We do collision work, mostly a lot of painting, so we need to get our airlines all situated. What were the new RTI airlines? We have a new snap-on compressor and all the filters to run two dowel-graphed hangers. Good. Now explain what you've got over here. I've got three filters, the new airlines coming down, we'll do three filters, and then we'll be painting our waterborne paint on the RTI airline also. Okay, so you've got the EH-4000 pre-filter, then you've got the DE-401 deskin system finis 01 microns, and a polyethylene painting hose, non-static, so that'll take away all the static from your system. Fantastic. Yep. And then the piping job looks great. How easy was it to install? It was pretty easy, yeah, with all the couplers, it's all compression fittings, it worked real good. Good deal. Yep. Well, I really appreciated it, Mal. Thank you. Thank you. All right. A little bit more of the piping going around the shop. It makes a circular pattern around the shop and connects. It's about a 50 by 30 foot loop. There's a drop here right on the wall side wall, and then it continues over to the paint mix room. And you can see it going back there. That's a drop into the paint mix room. And it's a really nice ball valve, two ports, and a really nice al T All those filters are going to be moved up to the ball valve that's just above right there and inserted into that line and tied in. And then t So in the booth, it'll be spraying clean, desiccated air. Now here we're coming out of the snap-on compressor through a water-separated filter. Then we've got the isolation hose, the blue hose that goes into the tank. And then the air will go through that tank, stored up at 150 pounds, and then it's going to come up on that first blue pipe, go into that coalescing filter that goes into the refrigerated air dryer. It's going to take that oil out completely. It's going to cool that air down, then go into those filters have got a regulator right be So we're storing up the air power at about 150 pounds, releasing it to the shop at about 100 pounds.
