We are a full-service automobile collision repair facility providing service in 3 locations in Baldwin County, AL.
Est. 1963 We are a family owned company that has lived and worked in the Baldwin/Mobile market for more than 100 years. In 1963, Austin Beasley, John and Helen Chupek opened Fairhope Paint & Body Shop in downtown Fairhope. They were familiar with everyone in the small town and worked hard to provide customers with top-quality collision work. Mr. Beasley sold his part of the business to John Chupek to pursue other interests. John and Helen continued to work and grow the business until they retired and sold the business to their son, Sidney and his wife Linda in 1988. From the start, Sidney had worked and grown up around collision repair. He learned the trade and was ready to take over when his parents retired. Not satisfied with one location, Sidney and Linda opened a second location at Chris Myers Automall in Daphne in 1989. In 1993, they purchased another location in Daphne to open Jubilee Paint & Body Shop on Randall Avenue, where the two Daphne stores would eventually merge into one. Another opportunity became available to open a third location in the Gulf Shores market in 1997. Sidney and Linda successfully operated three of the most up-to-date collision centers on the Alabama Gulf Coast at this point. By 2008, Sidney and Linda were ready to enjoy retirement. As they retired, their son, Chad, purchased the company. Following in his father and grandfather’s shadows, Chad has spent many years working in the collision industry as a technician, single and multi-facility manager and now, as CEO of the company. In 2013, The three stores were rebranded as one, unified name, Auto Craft Collision Center. The company is poised for continued growth into additional markets during the near future. We are proud to service the Mobile and Baldwin markets and work hard to continue the strong commitment for quality repairs and customer service that have been a part of the company for three generations!
The single biggest benefit from our website has been not only the addition of the new look that we've got and we're enjoying that and we get a lot of compliments from it, but customers actually being able to ask for an estimate right there on the website and being able to schedule their repairs right there on the website. We have already gained four or five jobs per month since we rolled it out from that additional portal right there and it's been great. We're seeing a weekly increase already. Every week we're seeing more and more people coming across and asking us to give them an estimate or to go ahead and schedule a previously written repair. It has definitely generated some additional sales that we may not have been able to capture otherwise. Absolutely, yes. We're seeing about 20 to 30 percent increase in our web traffic than what we had before we started our SEO.
