Brakes are $35 per axle for pads, $35 to $50 per axle for shoes, $50 per axle for PADS AND ROTORS. "Axle" is defined as either end of the vehicle (front or rear), not each individual wheel. These prices are for MOST VEHICLES, SOME MAY BE MORE and are LABOR ONLY WITH YOUR SUPPLIED PARTS. On all other jobs, our labor rate is $50 per hour based on a typical labor guide used in every shop. For example, if the labor guide lists a particular vehicle's labor time to replace the alternator as 1.0 hours, we charge that customer for one hour ($50) only, even if it takes longer than expected. Labor rate at any shop is typically $80 to $100 per hour and they also mark up your part. Most shops also add anywhere from 0.5 to 1.0 hours to your labor time if you choose to provide your own part in order make up for their profit loss.
