king Hi, We're here at the Temecula Art Festival. I'm hoping you can tell us a little bit about your work, maybe your name? My name is Sean Spajakian. T It's regarding a drawing that I did with theme of landscape arc Oh, okay. It's almost Any particular artist that inspired you? Yes, I love the work of Boccioni, an Italian artist who was a futurist painter. Sean, how can if we want to see more of your work or your pieces or so forth, how can we see those? You can actually search the website at www. SeanArtspan. com. Well, So congratulations once again. Absolutely. Thank you. We're here at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. What can you tell us about your work, Paul? I just use materials I find, recycled materials. I try to get a theme across to somebody that, I mean, what would you rather be doing? T I mean, you'd rather be riding your bike on a beast with a beer, right? Absolutely. And it seems You got a ribbon up here for t Yeah, that's actually my first show I've been in. And t So even to get invited is a good t I'm blessed that I was invited and having fun with what I'm doing. This definitely looks What inspires you? What inspires me? Well, I grew up around artists, my whole family, my mom, my aunt, my cousins are all artists. I started doing frames for them. I did frames for all these paintings. One day I framed a lunchbox and it just kind of took off for me. Oh, wow. And I can take something you find in the trash and make somebody So that's a great t Well, it definitely seems You could see that in your work. I heard you mentioned something earlier, Oh, yeah, you're right. It's an awesome feeling. I mean, they're hanging you up in their house, basically, right? If someone But it's not up to anyone to say what is an art. That's what the showcase is really for, right? To support these artists to get different voices and different opinions out there and to, and to censor one person. T I mean, you tell me. How long have you been an artist? I've been painting for 20 years, but I've worked for a long time as far as specifically pursuing art as a career. And for maybe the last five, six years, I've dedicated most of my time and money to working as an artist and so my work can make a living out of it. Have you just laid t Yeah, in 2008 at the Comic Con International. They didn't consider it a move. I didn't have to censor it in any way. They had no problem hanging with it. So that's the irony, It's the biggest fantasy art commission in the world and they had no problem with it at all. And they have strict guidelines. So again, I t As far as art goes.
