Cornwell Quality Tool Company has been providing the Automotive Repair industry quality, American made tools since 1919. Founded by Eugene Cornwell, a blacksmith from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.Cornwell produces most of their own hard line of tools such as ratchets, sockets, wrenches, pry bars, and chisels at their Albion, Pennsylvania foundry and Mogadore, Ohio machining plants. They also carry allied air, electric, and diagnostic tools. Cornwell is the only privately owned, employee owned mobile tool distribution business in the U.S. Cornwell Tools are sold by local tool distributors who own a territory by means of a franchise. The franchise owner drives to the work locations of potential customers, and typically offers financing to individuals buying their tools. Cornwell was the first company to introduce this method of supplying the Automotive Repair industry almost 100 years ago.
