All Illinois residents will be charged 7.25% state sales tax, $154.00 documentary service fee and $25 electronic transfer fee. New license plates and title fee is $196.00, transfer of current plates and title fee is $120.00. Additional city and county taxes may be levied depending upon your address of choice and may be billed to you directly. All out of state sales will be charged $154 documentary service fee and $25 electronic transfer fee regardless of the vehicle purchased. Signature Autos, Inc. is required to collect out of state sales tax on behalf of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan and South Carolina.
