About FIVE HUNDRED STONES, LLC: We are true Jeep enthusiasts. We looked high and low for a good cargo rack to carry our surf boards, snowboard, camping gear, bikes, etc. but found other rack systems lacking. Some make you build full cages around the Jeep, which makes it tough to take the hardtop off. Others take an hour or more to install, making it impossible to quickly transition from topless to soft or hard top. We were unsatisfied with our options and so we custom designed this rack to make topless cargo carrying simple. Making the Bare Back Rack a solid, durable, and amazing rack system is all about bending steel. It takes 3.6 tons of pressure to bend 1/16th inch steel 90 degrees. Our heritage is Scottish, which is how we came by our company name. In the early days of Scotland, 3.6 tons of pressure was applied by using 500 stones.
