American Heavy Metal, located in Missouri in the small town of Grain Valley, was born out of a love for classic and performance cars. We have been building and racing muscle cars for over 35 years. We specialize in AMX, Javelin, and Javelin AMX, but we work on almost anything including Mustang, Corvette, Trans Am, Camaro, Nova, Chevelle, Cougar, Cuda, Challenger, and many other classic, performance, muscle, and race cars. American Heavy Metal offers performance upgrades and restoration work including engine, transmission, and driveline swaps, supercharger installations, suspension, steering, and brake upgrades, installation of modern air conditioning, and electronics. We are authorized dealers for Metro Moulded Products (weather stripping), R.E.M Die Cut Gaskets, M&H Wiring, Fine Lines (brake & fuel lines), and SCE Gaskets. We are always expanding our product line.
