AWARD WINNING TEAM In 2014 The TRRP TEAM has been honored with 4 awards from the cities of Shreveport-Bossier, Ark Latex Drift and from the NHRA D4 Racers for Customer Service and Innovation at the race Facility! Thunder Road Motorsports Park is located just 25 minutes north of downtown Shreveport-Bossier in Gilliam, LA. The Racetrack boasts a quarter-mile drag strip, sanctioned by the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) and is managed by 2-Time NHRA Champion & Turbo Magazine Driver of the Year, Nelson Hoyos and his Partner & wife Marla Hoyos. Open on weekends from March through November the track has over 86 events scheduled for 2016. Tickets for adults range from $10-$20, children under 12 Free. The racetrack is home to the Driven2Win Drag Racing School, which allows race fans to experience the thrill of riding or driving a racecar.
