I'm Brett Watertor. I'm the upholstery shop manager at Carl Customs. I've been doing auto upholstery now for 45 years. I've been invited back by Carl to lead his team of upholstery technicians and professionals. I started out in high school. Fall was 76. I went to work for custom upholstery by Hogue and Aims. One of the things that he taught me was quality and same quality is what I use today. Then I started Accured Auto Trem, which was my own company. I did that for 27 years and then I came down to work for Carl. Carl and I have done interiors from the 1939 LaSalle all the way to the last project he just put together was the 54 Chevy. We offer both full interiors for custom cars and originals. We've got a following for each. We do convertible tops, vinyl tops, anything in your interior, headliners, carpets, seats, doors. Basically our helpers in here is Dennis Wilcox, is my service rider. He also does the majority of our sewing here. Zach Watertor is my son. I've got a picture of him sitting in a trunk of a car while I was upholstering the car. He'sitting in a car seat, so he's been around my jobs forever. All of us are cross-trained, so we can all sew, we can all do all the different steps, but some of us have items that we The only one interior that's basically second to none when it comes to the quality, and that's what we provide here at Carl Customs. Uniqueness if it's a custom interior and perfection if it's a restoration job. In our custom side, what we've gone to and what we're trying to do is go to a new level of interiors. In the next five years will be the best builds I've ever done, and at that point I'll be ready to hand off the reins for the next generation to see what they can create, which should top anything that I've built.
