Project to raise money for local charity through motorsports
Little Lambs provides car seats, diapers, and other necessities for needy families and single moms who can't afford them. Furthermore, they collaborate with area doctors, social services, and other charities, to provide prenatal and postnatal care and provide incentives to encourage recipients to utilize these services. We intend to raise money for Little Lambs by attempting the near impossible. That is, find and purchase a car for no more than $500, then drive said car from Evansville to New York City to enter the BABE Rally, which will conclude in New Orleans. From there, we will drive the car to St Louis in time for an endurance race at the newly reopened Gateway Raceway, which we may or may not actually enter the car in. From there we will enter the car in at least one 14-24 endurance race, and compete in the Grass Roots Motorsports $2012 Challenge.
