We use Scorpion's XO2 product, its a 3 component acrylic-reinforced aliphatic, aromatic polyurethane protective coating system. The product has high tensile strength, excellent abransion resistance, superior elongation, high non-skid rating, and excellent UV stability & weathering characteristics. It establishes solid adhesion to various substrates and can be applied to horizontal, vertical, overhead and irregular shaped surfaces by property trained and licensed applicators. Along with XO2 we also offer a Fire Retardant and a Zero Biological Growth Formulations. These Formulations also allow us to mix Custom Colors and add Rubber Crumb, Gripper Granules, Resin Sand, Metal Flake in with the product.
I've been doing coatings for close to 13 years now, 14 years, and installing coatings. And for me, t I was never, I've never been a big fan of SiO2 coatings. That's just me. Right. That's why I always kind of leaned more towards the optim And I've always Okay. So when I heard that what they were doing with nanodiamonds and they were So that's where I got intrigued. And then when I applied it, I was I can do t Right. So for everybody out there thinking that this is just diamond dust or sprinkled, just kind of That's not even ceramic. T It's a composite coating. Yeah. And it has beads in every bottle. There are beads in there. The beads are key to, and the reason we say 15 seconds is that's key because those four elements basically in there start to separate. And so to make sure that they're properly mixed is to shake that up for 15 seconds because you need that shear, that mixture to truly work and get ready to go. And then you put it on and it literally creates a spider web over the surface of the ve And I'm running almost a year now on my wife's Camry with the Pro 120 on it. And it's crazy. It's crazy. That's the 10 year coating. It was a three part system, but it's, that's nuts. It's pretty insane. So I'm excited for when that comes out.
