Heartland RV My Lemon


Dissatisfied new owner of a Heartland 5th Wheel. I purchased the top of the line Big Horn. I am sharing my first hand, and on going experience.


Within the first 3 months I have had over 30 Warranty issues. From the moment I walked in the coach and as long as this site is up there are continuing warranty problems. I was told by both the VP of Sales and one of the people at Heartlands legal team, having over 30 warranty problems within the first few months was not uncommon for them. I went through the construction tour before I picked up my coach. And watched how they build the coaches and realized I had made a huge mistake. I wish I had cancelled my order on the spot, eaten the down payment and ran. What I saw on the construction build line is what I believe the reason I am having so many problems. Poor quality of workmanship is what I believe I was seeing and now experiencing. Heartland RV is willing to fix all the problems, but not refund me for a 5th wheel. I am spending a significant portion of my life fixing, arranging to be fixed, documenting and emailing with photos the continuing problems on this coach. I regret my costly purchase.
