The Training Hangar was founded to fill a gap in the needs of Aviation Maintenance Training. It has been apparent for several years, there must be a better way; a more modern, responsive website, and more intuitive learning system. Since you are here, more than likely you have experience with outdated training material, and have had to taxi through the various “colored fish” flying around for several years. Of course, we say that jokingly and all of us here at the Training Hangar respect what others have done to assist in the advancement of aviation training, and the mitigation of risks the training has reduced. That’s what training is about! More knowledge, awareness, and highlighting of key needs; all in an effort to mitigate risk. In fact, that’s our promise to you, our training focuses on mitigation of risk, and highlights the safety awareness needs to reduce maintenance error. Our training is based upon real experience in commercial aviation, corporate aviation, rotorcraft maintenance, repair station management, and traditional brick and mortar aviation companies. All of us here at the Training Hangar are dedicated to ensuring you get the most out of the time spent doing the one thing that gets overlooked as a checkbox more than anything else. Absolutely, we know when employees are training, they’re are not billable, not being active in production, and not participating in the needs of pending flight schedules; we develop our training to be direct, and focus on the areas that mitigate risk. With 20+ years of previous experience in aviation, holding positions such as Accountable Manager, Quality Manager, Director of Maintenance, and Vice President of Regulatory Compliance; we know that it’s incumbent upon our training to mitigate the risks that plague our industry. This is why our guarantee, and again our promise is that our training focuses on mitigating the risks associated with maintenance error. We are here to serve, here to ensure the continued successes of our partners, and the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT).
